We strongly encourage non-technical clients to understand the sometimes mystified world of technology. Here are some recommended books and web sites that we believe can assist others.

Bruce Schneier's blog. A cryptographer who created the Blowfish and Twofish encryption algorithms, not to mention authoring two tomes of cryptography, Bruce now spends his time lecturing and writing on security and privacy issues for relatively non-technical audiences. He provides a heavy dose of sanity about security in a world of theater.

Secunia Vulnerability and Virus Information. An excellent, concise list of vulnerabilities.

Simon Singh's Code Book. If there's a single useful popular history of cryptography, Simon wrote it. An easy-to-read book meant for a non-technical audience, Simon works through the role and development of cryptography in human history.
